The Porthampton Bugle

Porthampton City Council announced new plans for a facelift of Porthampton city centre today.

A large shopping centre will be built on the cattle market at the north end of the pedestrian area as well as pedestrainising the area, adding new lighting, furniture and sculpture to improve the area.

Following on from the Harbourside Centre, the plans are to help foster the city’s reputation as a leisure destination and will create numerous new jobs
